Model United Nations Assembly
MUNA is a great project which develops international understanding and gives students the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the workings of the United Nations Assembly and the countries that are represented there. Held at Old Parliament House over a weekend in mid-August, this is a wonderful opportunity for students to hone their debating skills. Our Youth Director will contact the relevant high schools for expressions of interest.
Rotary Youth Driver Awareness
RYDA is designed for 16-18-year-old students who are approaching that crucial time in their lives when they start to drive independently or are travelling as passengers of one of their peers. In a series of practical workshops that aim to change the way young people think about road safety. As part of an interactive, students experience braking at different speeds, devise travel strategies that will work in the real world, and get tips from road safety experts on how to protect themselves, their friends & their family.
Youth Exchange Program
Unfortunately due to the Covid pandemic, the Youth Exchange Program has been suspended until further notice.
Held during January, this 10-day program is designed to give students a broader understanding of the diverse study and career options available in STEM. Our Youth Director will contact relevant schools about this program.
